Paper Mâché fun!
P2, P2/3 and P3 created bowls using paper mâché. They made their own paste using flour, water and a little PVA glue and mixed it until it was just like pancake batter! They used a plastic bowl as a mould and layered on the gooey paper.
Once dry, the bowls were decorated using the decoupage technique of layering coloured tissue with special glue to give a protective surface. Some children personalised their bowls with pictures from comics brought from home.
