Outdoor Learning

At Manor Park we always keen to take part in outdoor learning activities. Whether it is going out on our squad of bikes, playing on the funfield, using the local forest classroom or visiting our allotment area, we are keen to get outside!

The gardening club offers an excellent opportunity for the children in P6 & 7 to use the outdoors to enhance their learning. Manor Park School have been lucky to secure an allotment plot in our local community, where all the children including the gardening club can use it as an outdoor classroom. The club will give your child the opportunity to take part in various gardening activities which include:

Preparing land for planting

Planting flowers/plants indoor/outdoor

Weeding/tidying soil

Taking care of living plants

Taking responsibility of school allotment/grounds.
